Fraser Health is hosting its 7th Annual Research Week from June 11
to June 15. Topics will include:

  • Day 1 : Close to Practice: Research at the Point of Care
  • Day 2 : Social Media for Researchers: A Workshop, and Nursing Research: Knowledge Transfer and Exchange at its Best
  • Day 3 : KEYNOTE DAY: Community Participatory Research
  • Day 4 : Evidence Informed Decision Making Workshop

Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business is hosting an evening seminar with Dr. Rik Crutzen, Visiting Scholar from Maastricht University, The Netherlands. Dr. Crutzen will be presenting on the topic of "Improving the public health impact of Internet–delivered interventions".

Every year, the BCATPR is pleased to present a half-day workshop for a growing audience of clinicians, health policy makers and researchers. We are excited to announce that the 2012 workshop will be held at SFU Harbour Centre on Thursday, June 21. It will feature innovative "virtual clinics and mobile health" topics delivered by physicians, nurses and allied health professionals in BC.
